Why we Give

The mission of Mt. Pleasant could not be accomplished without the faithful giving of the Mt. Pleasant family and friends. Your giving is both an act of worship and a discipline of stewardship. We take this seriously and want you to as well. What we do with what God has given us shows the world where our hearts are centered and helps proclaim the Gospel. We want to glorify God with every area of our lives, and that includes what we do with our finances.

Ways to Give

In addition to giving on a Sunday morning during our offering, we have multiple ways for you to respond in worship with your giving: mail delivery, bill pay through your personal bank, Generosity by Lifeway church giving app, and online giving, which you can do below. You’ll find instructions for how to give by each method below.

Most banks offer bill pay services (some for a small fee). You can set this up online through your bank. All you will need is the church address listed above.

Select an amount from one of the boxes or enter a custom amount (a gift must be $5 or more).
Select payment type.
Select how often you will donate (one-time or select frequency of recurring gift).
Choose your designation of General fund or Building fund.
Clicking add another designation lets you give to both funds by splitting your gift.
Click Give Now.
Enter the required personal and card information.
Note the check box at the bottom (above the Give Now box), you can select that box and cover the transaction fee for the church).
Click Give $_____ (will show the total amount of your donation – the donation only or donation + transaction fee) now.
You will be taken to the confirmation screen with a thank you for your gift note.
You can now set up a Login with a username and password for future use.

Search for and install the Generosity by Lifeway App.
Get started.
Welcome! Search for an organization to make donation.
Touch Search and enter Mt Pleasant (there is no period after Mt) and select Mt Pleasant Baptist Church Plumerville.
Create an Account. You can use Facebook, Google, or Email. The following is by using the email function to set up an account.
Enter first name, last name, email and a create a personal password.
Touch Continue. A verification code will be sent to your email from Lifeway.
Enter the verification code.
Continue.
Enter personal and card information and touch Save Card button.
Touch the GIVE button.
You can select the Designation of General or Building funds or both to split the gift.
Enter the Amount.
Enter the Frequency (you can enter a one-time gift or set up as a recurring gift).
Please notice Donor Fee – I want to pay the transaction fee of $… If you would like to help the church by paying the transaction fee, turn this button ON.
Confirm.
Mobile transaction succeeded.
Open this page in Generosity? If you touch Open, you will be taken to a Thank You page in the Generosity page.
